It's been a while..lots of changes and exciting things!

Dear Readers (all of 1..my hubby :P),

It's been over a year since i've posted a blog. Life got a little crazy. We're still drowning in debt, not sure what we're going to do about it. We moved out of our house in Bloomington, tried to sell it, but that didn't work out. We are renting it for now. The guys lease is up soon so who knows what will happen to it. We moved in with Pat and Dad for about 6 months and then got our own place in Greenwood, In. We live in Pinebrook apartments and love it. However, our neighbors up above smoke and the smell lingers into our apartment and we don't love that so much. I decided to switch majors after completing my AS degree in El Ed. I was told by my advisor that if I decided to get my BA degree in El Ed I wouldn't have a chance at getting a job afterwards. How awesome is that? Sooo.. I am now going to start working on my AS degree in Medical Assiting. However, now I can announce that Tyler and I are expecting a baby!!! We always said after 4 years of marriage and living in a different house we would then have a baby. That's exactly what happened. We will be married 5 years in October (WOW..time flies!) and our little one is due in September. With living in a new place, our plans fell into place and in perfect timing. We told our family and friends over Valentine's Day weekend, which I was already 9 weeks pregnant so everyone was pretty shocked. Now my pregnancy is half over and I am almost 21 weeks. When we went to find out the sex (IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!) of the baby on April 14th we had a little scare because her heartbeat was 'very irregular'. We had to see a specialist on the following Monday. Everything looked fine to the doctor, but just as a precaution we have to get an echocardiogram done which happens to be tomorrow (5/5) at 10am. We know everything is going to be fine. God's got his hand upon our little one. We have a name picked out for her and it is Kierra Bonney. I also like a few other names, but will probably stick with that one. I like Piper, but I think only because you can come up with some cute nicknames such as Pip, Pipsquek, Piperoo, Pippy...spunky and cute, right? I also like Scarlett. I think when we see her we will know exactly what we want to call her. She will be stuck with this name forever so it has to be perfect :) Anyway, back to my schooling. I could start the program in the Fall, but then I would only have 2 weeks to spend with my little one before having to go back to class. Ty thinks it'd be better to start the program in the spring that way I will have more time with her. I think that is probably a better idea. We are just so excited and can't wait for her to get here!!!! Things are going to definitely change, but for the better :) I will post some pictures in the future of her furniture that Mimi, Pappy, Mamaw and Papaw got her. It is absolutely darling. She already has a little wardrobe too. Her Aunt Brittany loves to buy her clothes and shoes. She is going to look precious in them :) That's all I have for now. The hubby and I are watching LOST so I will get back to that now.

Until next time,

Shayna
